Press Cotton Cloth Nitro Film
What is pressed cotton cloth nitro film ?
Laminate nitro film with industrial cotton cloth using an acetone solution on a laminating machine.
Slit the laminated semi-finished product into 15x15cm sheets. Place the punched sheets in a dryer and dry for 12-24 hours. Then, place them on a sheet forming machine and form them. Hold the pressure for 3 minutes at a temperature of 80°C-100°C. Prepare the solution in the correct proportions and let it sit for 24 hours. Prepare the glue solution and apply it to half of the box. Apply glue to the half box. Place the glued half box in the laminating machine’s mold and press it together. Hold the pressure for 1 minute. Allow to dry for 0.5-12 hours. Repair the punched, bonded boxes. After drying, inspect the empty boxes according to process requirements.

Application
Manufacturing military shell igniter shells: Celluloid film has a certain strength, is resistant to moisture absorption and water immersion, and has excellent sealing properties. It can be used to manufacture shells for military shell igniters, suitable for medium- and large-caliber weapon launch systems.
As a gunpowder-related material: Celluloid’s main component, nitrocellulose, is the energy material in gunpowder formulas. It can be used as a single-base propellant or, combined with nitroglycerin and other materials, to form double-base or triple-base propellants. It is used in warhead propellants, explosive components of mines and torpedoes, and smokeless gunpowder.
Other potential applications: Due to its high adsorption capacity for proteins, the raw material of celluloid film can be made into molecularly imprinted membranes for immobilizing proteins and glycoproteins. It can also be used in biosensors and chips, and has potential applications in military biological detection and sensor manufacturing.
